The table makes a frame within the frame with two repeated diagonals, sort of a free zone within the huzzle and buzzle that goes on around it. Nice frosen moment.

Very cool & interesting photo. I like the action & inaction of all the men here. The boy & two men behind in triangle are nice focal points. Love the hats. And great POV too. The luminescent green cushion give a nice contrast. I wonder what will happen when it rain. Well spotted & well taken. Regards. Latiff.

Hi Caleb, Great daily life shot. Lots of elements contributing to the dynamic scene. the group of men talking, the guy drinking and the kid. On my monitor the colours look just a fraction over saturated. esp the reds (the trim on the jacket and skin tones of the guy drinking). nice one. Cheers, Steve

Hi Caleb,
Interesting composition to show every one enjoy with their own business, funny to see a boy playing snooker alone, distinct image and nice color, good shoot.

Hello Caleb,
I'd bet no one plays that kid for money. Lovely daily life capture, lots of visual detail to soak up. I like the way you've kept the light slightly brighter in the middle of the frame to accent the action. Great capture.
cheers

Hi Caleb, the scene is very interesting, so much details everywhere in the frame...
How did you like China/Tibet ? We are considering going there maybe next year...
NB: seems to me that it is over sharpened

Hi Caleb,
It seems that you have one of the most enormous collection of people in TE. Strange that I've never noticed your gallery before. I like also the variety. Difficult to choose. This one, with this huge piece of flashy green caught my eyes. You write that billiard is a common pastime but there's something surrealist in this scene. Perhaps because billiard is associated to the occidental world and a certain idea of a luxuous game.
There's also a "Jia zang Ke" (a great chinese director) feeling in this shot. I really like it a lot.
Olrik.

I find this photo interesting because it portrays what has happened to young Tibetans in a Chinese occupied country. Many are unemployed and hang around the streets and play pool. I have met many Tibetan exiles in India and a similar thing is happening there too. Sad!
