Photographer’s Note
Here we have all the necessities for a French holiday. Chocolate cereal for the children, some nice cabecau cheese with fresh strawberries, fresh fruits and vegetables from the market and of course foie gras and wine. Add a knight for protection and life is good.

Hi Mary
If you want the food on the picture look tasty, try to avoid using flash - it makes everything flat and completely kills the atmosphere. Try using longer exposures (food doesn't move, does it?)and flash only as fill-in.
Best regards

Bonjour Mary.
I've corrected the spelling, Tournon-d'Agenais instead of Tournon d'Angenais and also changed the region which should be Aquitaine instead of Midi-Pyrenees.

Is that the knight going to conquer French food? Except for the Kellog's packet which is American of course. I like your picture, but I would have cleared the back of the objects that we can't see in the dark, in order to concentrate on what you actually wanted to show!
I think the flash can work at times, but the subject must be more uniform in order not to get the differences in lighting.
All the best. Looking forward to see more pics of your holidays!
MarieLouise.
