First colors Photo

Photographer’s Note

This is in Lauttasaari, early in the morning,I started to take some pictures waiting for a sunrise. I did not get the sunrise but It was great to witness all this changing colors.

This picture has some PP (contrast and saturation added).

Hi Jorge,

There are a few things I love about this image. For starters that earning morning, pre-dawn color is fabulous. Second, I really enjoy the minimization of composition you have employed here. This type image oozes softness and quiet. Your decision to include the small band of sandy shoreline at the bottom adds visual weight and balances the image for me. I think it might be stronger if the horizon were level and possibly if there were fewer silhouetted objects up top. That or maybe a slightly more recognizable object like a boat?
