Photographer’s Note

This photo was taken at Mengkabong Fishermen water Village. Mengkabong Water Village is a settlement of the Bajaus who the descendant of pirates who set foot on this land in early 19th Century. At present, the Bajaus have become fishermen who reside at this water village, which is built above the surface of the water.
I especially love this place because of its beautiful scenery, you can also watch the most beautiful sunset and sunrise here..both is my favorite time to go out shooting.

This is the best time for sunset photography in Northern Borneo. I was in Miri last year in May and I had the opportunity for good pictures as you can see in my gallery.
This one is simply fantastic. That sky is wonderful even if the sun is a bit too strong. The composition is lovely and the colours are very good. Well done.

Good, even though the picture sharpness is not excellent, i value the wonderful evening scene you captured. Nice subject framing where the boat, silhouette coconut tree and the surroundings blend well in a ballance space. Do continue to capture good pictures.
