Photographer’s Note
On my way to Seligman, AZ. I took advantage of lack of traffic (it's no US 19 in Clearwater, FL, :), and made this shot in the middle of the road.
I am not sure if it's too much road, and too little sky. I always have problem with composition..

Hi David
Yes, that´s North America. The landscape seems endless. I love this big sky. The street in the picture give a nice perspective. In my opinion there is not too much of the street. It´s really well composed. In my opinion the best composition is when you like your picture!!

ciao Dave,
well, there is pretty much road in this compo...but you know...you are on route 66...and US Trips are trip "on the road"...so we get this feeling too...rock and roll while rolling on endless roads!
I like it
ciao

Hi David,
the way of your composition is well done and remember that you are the photographer and this is why the picture displays your perspective concerning the motive.
If you don´t know how to place the motive in a picture, think of the "golden rule". It means in general that you divide the picture into thirds. In this case it would mean, that the road could claim 1third or 2thirds of the whole picture. This is your decision. ;) ...but in most cases you´ll break the golden rule to express your own style of photography. Don´t worry.
Good job, I like it. Regards, Björn
