Photographer’s Note
"Cofete beach is 13.700 m. long and has an average width of 60 m., but Cofete beach doesn't occupy all this space since the Jandía peninsula divides the beach in two.
A rock known as “Islote” (islet) separates the Cofete and Barlovento´s beaches, which becomes isolated during high tide. The best bathing area can be found beside “Islote” where a small cove has been formed. There is a spectacular monolith known as Roque del Moro (Moro Rock) at the extreme south of the beach that is highly appreciated by rod fishermen."
