Canoeing the Milk River
The Milk River is located in southeastern Alberta, and eventually flows into the Mississippi river basin. Most rivers in western Canada flow into the Hudson Bay up north. The Milk River gets it's name from it's colour during the spring run off.
I thought the bright red canoe stood out nicely against the tall Cottonwood trees and blue sky. Hand held from the canoe.

Hi Janice,
Nice capture of the bend of the river with good timing & placement of the red canoe. Quite a wide aperture opening you had chosen. Maybe a smaller one would give more overall sharpness. Good lighting & colors. TFS. Best Regards. Latiff.
PS: Hand held from the canoe ... now I understand why you had chosen the setting & speed :). Have a nice day.

Hi Janice,
Wow it has been a long since I saw you around here. I hope all is well :-) Nice image but a bit blurry. The red canoe is a strong focal point in the picture. It create an interested contrast in this natural environment. Nice framing and colours. Thanks Janice :-)
