Photographer’s Note
Another shot from a visit to this architectural gem by noted architect Julia Morgan, who was contracted to supervise the building and design of this large chapel and crematorium in Oakland, from 1926 until her death in 1957. This is a shot of an open courtyard, which has rolling skylights, gardens in the middle and is flanked by molded doorways and arches.

A very nice shot with symetry and many architectual details. I like teh repetition of the rows of columns. Nice colors and and light. Well done, Janet.

This is a very interesting place, Janet. I like how you've captured the textures and patterns of this structure so nicely. The centered composition captures the patterns nicely.

Very impressive building. The textures are very well captured and the photo well composed with the plants in the right low corner creating a good detail.
