Hiha...back from Ireland which was an amazing trip. Absolutely fascinating landscape. And I had so much luck with the weather :-)

This photo was made somewhere on the Dingle peninsula. I guess it must be around 40km from Dingle away.
I really like the different stones in the front, standing there as if someone arranged them in that way ...nope..it wasn't me ;-)
In the background you can see the massive cliffs which are a big tourist thing a bit more in the north - the cliffs of moher.

If you go to Ireland and you plan to do the Ring of Kerry - do not miss the chance to go also to the Dingle peninsuala which I liked much more.

I adjusted slightly the contrast and did some cropping...

Strange shapes, perfect light management, exposure, colours and sharpness. Many thanks for sharing, Jalab

Beautiful Kevin
The Dingle peninsula is one of the top spots in Ireland, I think your capture shows this very much so. Excellent rock shapes to your composition with the Peninsula showing in the background. Love the misty look then the more detailed foreground. Natural colours and perfect cropping. My favourite part of the peninsula is Connors Pass. Well presented

Jim

A very beautiful Point of view. I love the composition with the contrast between foreground and middleground.

Hi Kevin
There is a wonderful softness to this scene. Very well composed and the exposure is spot on.

Well Kevin,
I couldn't agree more about the DIngle peninsula. Definitely worth seeing, maybe before Kerry...As for your picture, it is minimalist but efficient. I think you chose the appropriate format for it. Well done.

Philippe

Hi Kevin,
This panorama is awesome ! Including both cliffs and the foreground stones is a great idea to make them echoing which creates subtil harmony in the composition. Nice natural colors and a sober frame fitting very well.
Well done !

Very good pov on that Menhir, you take here a very well composed photo with moutain and beautiful sky in background, and the principal subject in foreground with more vivide colors to highlight it.
