[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Walking the streets of Red Lodge, Montana. Not exactly a big city. In fact it’s tiny. What it lacks in people it makes up for in Harley Davidson motorcycles. They are everywhere. This was taken in front of the Beartooth Harley store. It was a sunny yet windy day.

Hi Ryan,
good sense of framing for a strong iconic picture, don't know if it's a real high key treatment or just overexposed but i like it...the white background remind me the movie "dogville"
good job,
vincent

Hi Ryan
Great composition. The biker's look lost into the white horizon is what makes the picture.
Chris

Hello Ryan,
I wouldn't be too surprised to see this picture somewhere in some magazine. It's beautiful and it's quality is simply stunning, starting from the compo and its angle to the crystal quality throughout. Great job, I like it a lot!
Thanks for sharing this and regards,

Igor

surprised to see your name underneath it man... so you are not only great in landscape shots but also in such stuff, so cool... looks like pop art to me, really love it ryan... i wish i was the one to take it...

Don't know Ryan... I guess it's the plastic look of the biker that doesn't appeal to me. I wonder how this looks in color... Sorry my dear friend, but I don't like it.

much as I dislike choppers and harley davidson type riders, I love this shot a lot because of its creative angle and depth. it is a very well-handled and fun shot.

Hello Ryan! I don't drive a Harley but some of my best friends are Harley drivers and actually most of them are pretty fancy and just "behave" to be wild ... at least for some hours before they go back to their good jobs. I noticed that too that Montana had a lot of motor bikes, actually the whole West has. I spent a little while in one of these Harley shops this summer and the prices for the tools (you probably never use) were rather amazing. They have increcible marketing strategies and are famous for that. Your composition is pretty wild too I must say ... intresting "strategy" ... Cool. Take care, have a good day, Barbara.

Hi Ryan!
I know exactly where Luis Alfonso's coming from with his
comment, and I have to agree with him to a certain extent.
I wish the dark areas in the image were even darker, but
then you would nee to sacrifice the definition of
whatever this is in the front (printed canvas or some sort of an ad in front of the store).
Maybe this image just needs something more to appeal to
the wider audience, like i.e. some black framing, to
accentuate the high contrast that is going on in the frame... I'm not quite sure...

PS. I dared to do a WS... ;-D

Interesting use of graphics and nice use of colorus and perspectives. the composition is great

Ryan Hi;
Wonderful b/w daily life image. You have presented the composition very well and I can feel the wind. B/W fits this very well.
Congratulations, very well done.

Ryan,
This is an image that leave strong impression graphically, perhaps can be a whole page of advertisement for Harley in magazines. The letters is so very sharp and clean, like actual font or vector image versus a bitmap image, impeccable. I did have small encounter with a group of riders in Montana, They saw that I have this serious looking camera, a Canon 20D, they know I am a better than average photographer so they ask me to take a pictures for them, and several of them took out tiny little digital cameras. I don't do well with little camera, I can't hold it steady when it so light and small. I hope it turn out okay for them.
Thanks for this great image which bring back nice memory for me.

Unusual presentation, Ryan...
And that's the reason I'm here... On your site...
I won't blah...blah... About the low key, high key and some other crap...
It's just the unusual thing that brought me here...
You made your thinking in there, you've got the idea, you executed that idea to my utmost satisfaction...

Great..!

Stay insane, mate
