Yes, I am in the same place and there was something of light yet.. This is the same tree you saw 2 days ago, it is a cebolão tree, its huge base is typical of this especie (phytolacca dioica). We can see that pasture around and 2 black vultures inside the tree, waiting for the moment to sleep at night. Many people in rural zone don't like these animals, they say when they don't have spoiled meat to eat they try to pierce the very young calve's eyes and when these animals die the black vultures get food. Maybe this isn't a true..Anyway these animals are the cleaners of nature.

É, ainda uma vez estamos no mesmo local e ainda havia um restinho de luz. Esta é a mesma árvore que vocês viram dois dias atrás, é um cebolão (phytolacca dioica), podemos apreciar sua larga base, algo típico desta espécie. Ao redor da árvore há a pastagem e entre os ramos podemos ver dois urubus esperando a noite cair para dormir. Muita gente não gosta destes animais, dizem que quando não há carne apodrecida para comer eles tentam furar os olhos dos bezerros recém-nascidos que depois acabarão morrendo e sendo devorados por eles. Talvez seja apenas um mito, de qualquer maneira estes animais são os lixeiros da natureza.

I am of agreement with you when you speak about the vultures and that you say:”Anyway these animals are the cleaners of nature.”

This solitary tree in this beautiful light with the blur of the background is superb.
This composition is well balanced.

The "lonely tree" photos are very popular here in TE, but not many are so beautiful as this one! Excellent framing and composition, beautiful side light that gives great long shadows! Congratulations!

Hello Jorge,

The stunning evening light makes this shot special! It is changing the green to a much brighter yellowy/green.
I love the strong diagonal with its focal tree nicely off-centre. It creates two very different zones, the nearest a third and the furthest two thirds. Good composition.

I think your composition makes this view so much interesting to play with light+shadow effect on the green grass field. And the shadow of far end hill. The tree is well placed to become your subject.

Bela foto, Jorge. Conseguiste um belo resultado com essa luz iluminando no alto, a mata na encosta do morro e, mais abaixo, o capim e o "cebolão". Árvore muito imponente aliás, não conhecia. Quanto aos urubus, já ouvi também alguma coisa sobre eles furarem os olhos dos bezerros (também não sei dizer se é verdade), mas não há como negar que o vôo deles no céu é um dos mais belos entre as aves. Oi Jorge, esta é das mais bonitas da tua longa série até agora. Esta luz rastejante é lindíssima e resultou em cores fabulosas na árvore. E depois gosto de ver o fundo imenso quase a desaparecer o que faz com que este 1º plano se destaque bem. Urubus? Gosto muito deles. Tenho imensas fotos deles no Quénia - penso que Urubu e Abutre seja o mesmo.

Olá Jorge!
A árvore solitária parace aquelas árvores mal-assombradas que assim elegíamos quando éramos crianças... onde eu morava havia uma e a chamávamos de "o arvrão!"! Com os urubus, então... imagine quando a noite chegar mais escura ainda... brrrrr! Que medo estar lá também sozinho!
Com essas luzes de fim de dia tudo ficou muito bonito... o verde amarelado brilhante!
Linda composição!
Parabéns por mais uma bela image campestre aí de sua Borrazópolis! E como já disseram - acho que um português - que nome é este??? Qual é a origem???

bonita, bonita, jorge.
os verdes estão belíssimos e o enquadramento está perfeito.
o foco está incrível, com o bg em meio a uma neblina suave, e a curva no primeiro plano conduz o olhar de forma delicada.
lindo lugar. belém, mas principalmente a ilha do marajó, me mostraram que esses bichos, apesar de feinhos, são especialemnte úteis, e são ótimos modelos :D

Olá Jorge,
É curioso usar o pássaro no título, pois ele quase que passa despercebido. è uma espécie de pista para aguçar a curiosidade dos menos observadores.
A luz está fantástica, fazendo a foto muitíssimo atractiva. É incrível como conseguir tanto detalhe nas sombras, tanto do 1º plano como do fundo.

Olá Jorge,
Que maravilha de luz e sombras. O cebolão ficou muito bem posicionado.
Os urubus (assim como os seus parentes muito afastados, os abutres) são animais muito úteis, num ecossistema equilibrado.
