Hi Kasia,
a good idea for this shot. Sunsets are fascinating, aren't they?
I like the silhouettes of the roofs and the chimneys.
But your shot could use some improvements - at least in my opinion. Let's start with the noise. Some digital cameras do have this noise and it can be reduced in pp by software (I use PaintShopPro). Then I noticed that the image needs a bit sharpening as it seems to be a bit soft. And make sure that dark parts in shots like this one don't show too much details as they distract the eye of a viewer. The sky again is a bit overexposed I think. I found it helpful to have a look into the manual of my camera how to avoid this. By now I take several shots of the same motive. I then decide at the PC which one is the best. I point the camera at a dark part and don't press the button fully, then go back with held button to the frame I want and then push the button fully. I do the same procedure with pointing the camera at a bright part. And may I suggest to try a different cropping with this shot? You wanted to concentrate on the sky but you show many details in the foreground. Ah, one more thing: pictures sometimes look a bit unfinished when they are of very vivid colours at the edges. I use then borders to give it a look like being in a frame. Maybe you want to try that?
As I ran out of allowed ws-postings for today I can't show you what I am talking about. Maybe I will upload it tomorrow or you tell me you will try on your own or don't want me to play around with this image. Please, feel free to do so.
But all in all I like this shot as it is full of possibilities, good details and rich colours.
Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards, Britta
