On our road to Castle Cerveny Kamen we stopped at Budmerice which is nearby village to see the chateau with the park.
Short history about this magnificient construction..
The chateau was built by Ján Pálffy in 1889 in the romanticizing style. It´s architecture contains a set of elements chosen from several historic styles. The main facade of the chateau ends in a tall tower with a coat of arms.
The chateau now serving as the Home of the Slovak writers stands in a large English park and it´s located 20 km from Bratislava. |

Ahoj Michal,
nice POV on the mansion. Composition is very good as well, the path nicely leads to the building. Good job...though the image is a bit oversharpened with ugly jaggies along the straight lines.
S pozdravom,
Adrian
Great pic. I really like the fact that you included that grey gravel road in the pic. I think it adds another layer of colors to the vivid blue and green.
