Photographer’s Note
Colour version is really not good, photo taken end of the afternoon...
You can see a desaturated, larger version of the same crowd with another FG on TL : also interesting to watch if you enjoy travelling :))
One of my last photos from Mahboobabad (also called Mah'bad), a small farmers town where there is no reason to go for tourists ; I spent some days there to visit 2 schools in neighbouring tribal villages, one of my best moments last time in India although it was not very comfortable (slept on the floor of the NGO office as there was no hotel).
In fact the place receives so little visits from foreigners that my passing in the local market was like a small event, impossible to remain unnoticed... But the kid in the arms of his father was more interested in the reluctant goat :))
Whereas during my previous travels I had been very much annoyed by such attention, this time I joked a lot with the crowd that was following me and on several occasions asked them to pose for me : no great photos, but I hope that you'll laugh with me... (And if you have time, you can see many other photos of the same town with the link mentioned above : a collection of 14 shots).

Superb exotic scenery. Crowd against the pots. And the goat... Many meanings, great impression.

I love the way you have captured the colours of life in this b/w image that has a lovely perspective and pov. the goat sur is an interesting aspect but the image has far more quality than something to simply look for just for a laugh. Its a well ideated image

bonjour catherine

hi Cath
You can get so close to capture all the crowd and yes, the goat is the center of attraction in this moment's capture. Good daily life scene in B&W.

Bonsoir Catherine,

Hi Cath, terrific POV you chose for this shot, looking over the shoulder of the seated man, across the pots and into the crown. Good sharpness throughout. A winner! cheers, Steve

Cath Hellooo,
This should be a hit photo for a superb article you might think of focusing on one day. Superb choice for using B/W. A wonderful daily life photo showing no barriers of facial expressions.

bonjour Cath

Having been to many of those "no reason for tourists to go" places in Andhra, I love this picture! I was constantly surrounded by mobs of children who were very interested in my camera and me! Great shot!
