Somewhere in the Adriatic sea Photo

Photographer’s Note

I was on a boat from Santorini to Naxos island, in the kylklades region. We had just left one island (¿Paros?), so the island was getting further and I liked the contrast between the land and the sea. The waves had an interesting shape as well, and I guess this is a picture that evokes how many incredible things are available for us to discover and how small we are, compared to the big big world. At the end, the contrast was not very good, so I just used the Autobalance tool of Corel Photo Paint, and you can see the result. It looks like a painting,don't you think?

it's the time of the day i quess (maybe even my state of mind right now ;D) but i don't understand how you managed this unuseual but awesome effect in a photograph!!! i mean, there white(!) fingeting in the edges, there's a scratch (from bad development) in the sky... and the colors are out of the world....

but the effect works for me
