Photographer’s Note
Swaddee Krub everybody,
After quite a serious in peace topic,I think we will be back on trekearth now.:-)
Songkrang 2008,I took this shot when I finding the way to outside and before I reach to the location that i took the shot on previous post.I saw the beautiful scene of line of novice monk come down the stair from upper terrace of Phra Mondop. This scene impressed me by color and line of novice with natural action of novice childhood.
For post process,Firstly I use curve a little bit to adjust light and contrast and used shadow/hight light to open detail on shadow area. Secondly,I use color balance and hue/saturation tool to adjust the color. Finally,I used smart sharpen, framing and resize to finish.
For information in brife: Phra Mondop, in the middle of terrace, is a library built in Thai style by Rama I, known for its excellently crafted Ayutthaya-style mother-of-pearl doors, bookcases containing the Tripitaka (sacred Buddhist manuscripts), human- and dragon-headed nagas (snakes), and statues of Chakri kings.

HI Patshoo,
a tripude of gold!
The composition is great, very dinamic...
It seems (for the big marble stairway and the young figures barefoot) almost a Pre-Raphaelite painting!

Swaddee Patshoo,
Beautiful image of the ceremony. Make me miss my childhood home. The composition is just perfect with the line of novice proceeding to the front. the colors and tone match very well the temple and the fabric. The red rope give it the feeling of constraint but there's not much to do unless you want to edit it out. Otherwise to absolutely love this image. congratulations. Great job.

Hello Patshoo,
This is an extraordinary photograph, that the producers of the film "The King and I" would have envied. The timing, composition, colors, and resolution all collaborate in producing this amazing shot, which I've included among my favorites.

Hello Patshoo,
This is an excellent composition filled with natural yellow colours and fine details. The monks look more like golden statues on the stairs. A very natural composition with a strong focal point in the monks. The building details enhances the surroundings and make for a more balanced image. Thanks Patshoo.

Hi Patshoo,
What a great image! I very much like the distribution of the colour provided by this line of under probation young gentlemen's 'uniform'.
Judging by this richly lavish and elaborated interior, this Buddhist temple must be a gem to admire.
I only hope you post more images.
Regards,
Maria

Hi patshoo
Good catch of the moment, their golden robes are glowing and this vertical framing fits well to the scene, I'd only like the framing to be a bit wider in order not to cut them on the right side.
Have a nice day JY

Superbes couleurs Patshoo et je dois dire que l'encadrement est très esthétique et colle bien avec le contenu, cela dit, fais attention à ne pas poster des encadrements trop élaborés.
Magnifiques couleurs bien capturées et netteté impressionnante.
Cheers.

Hi Patshoo,
I like their golden robes and the golden colurs of the temple, there are plenty of fine details too. Vertical composition was a good choice to capture them coming down the stairs, I just find it a pity that some of them are slightly cut of on the side (thats just my personal preference though), otherwise nice shot.

Hello my friend,
I have been to Bangkok quite a few times, and to the Royal Palace too, but I have never been able to catch such a scene. Not only you were lucky to be there at the right moment but you also mastered a quick shot with elegance in such a perfect frame and exposure. Good shot Sir - Izzet
