Photographer’s Note

San Giorgio is the dominant Catholic Church in Cuggiono. There is a second Catholic Church, San Rocco, that is used for services as well. San Giorgio celebrates 400 years of service in 2006, and the rich architecture of the church as well as its well-attended Masses attest to the continuity of prominence in the community.This night a great spectacle under the thundestorm.

Nice timing to catch the lightning strike here. You might try adjusting the white balance of the shot so that it looks a bit less yellow.

Avevamo già parlato di fulmini. Ed eccone uno perfettamente catturato. Certo sei stato aiutato dai fortunali di queste due ultime notti ma dice bene Jeppo. Carpe diem.

e' iniziata la stagione dei fulmini anche su TE... Bella questa notturna gia' di per se', il fulmine si aggiunge come la ciliegina sulla torta. Sarebbe stato bello poter prendere una inquadratura un po' piu' ampia per non sacrificare la chiesa. Complimenti, Dario.

Prima della tempesta, domenica scorsa sono stato come un cretino a cercare di cogliere l'attimo fuggente...il tutto senza risultati di sorta.

ecco una cosa che non ho mai capito...ma come si fà a fotografare un fulmine? ... bisogna essere dei fulmini :-)...
Lo scatto è decisamente buono e ben esposto, (siamo tutti e due patiti di notturni del resto) e il fulmine è praticamente perfetto per la composizione...Ma dico sul serio..come sapevi che il fulmine sarebbe finito lì?...sei un indovino! .. mi dai qualche numero da giocare al lotto!!!

gran colpo di cul...hem, volevo dire di fortuna, nel aver beccato proprio il momento giusto in cui scocca il fulmine. Io c'ho provato un casino di volte ma non ci sono mai riuscito. Formidabile la gestione della luce. L'ho sempre detto: per fare una bella fotografia ci vuole, bravura, colpo d'occhio e un pizzico di fortuna. A te non manca nulla. Complimenti.

Non sono in grado di catturare un tiro con entrambe le opportunismo, come questo. La composizione si concentra in particolare sulla trave che cade, con forza, quasi sulla cupola della chiesa.

La sera toni sono molto ben definiti e la definizione dello stadio, è impostato correttamente. Congratulazioni.

Great shot of a thunderstorm. The effect is terrific. Good lighting and pov. I feel may be it would have been better if the small thing at the top left corner of the photo were not there. Anyways, excellent work.
