Photographer’s Note
This photograph was taken from Kalamuni Top, the pass 15 kms before Munsiyari (if you're coming from Birthi Falls). We covered this stretch in pitch darkness around 7pm. Although the snow had been removed from the road just 2 hours back, lots of it still remained, making it a very nail-bitingly dangerous 15 kms. we followed a truck all the way till Munsiyari to ensure that just in case the tyres of our maruti estemm got stuck in snow, we'd have someone to help us!
