Photographer’s Note

Swaddee Krub everybody,

Second time in Nepal and second time for me at Swayambhunath(Devnagari: स्वयम्भूनाथ स्तुप),One of the most sacred place in nepal.I walked up the hill in the morning that sun light start shining.There're a lot of place to take a good shot in this moment.I took this shot for express the combination of religion in this area,buddist stupa infront of,Hidu shrines on the right side,Main buddist stupa in center and Hindu's Shikhar style temple that erected by king Pratap Malla on the far left.Many religion and many belive in one place had came together in peace.

For this photo,I scanned for 35mm negative film.I cropped a little bit to adjust a composition.I must repair dot and scratch by clone stamp tool and used curve to adjust contrast.Next I adjusted color balance to push clear color.To completed,I use smart sharpen,resizing and canvas.:-)

Lovely vertical presentation of this beautiful temple that is seen in great sharp details as the golden color is so beautifully complimented by the vivid blue summer sky.

Un bon contraste entre ces deux temples, une bonne utilisation du format vertical avec ces très belles couleurs.

Swaddee Patshoo,
A very nice image form Nepal of this very famous Tibetan temple in the background and the player flags. Though we do not see the whole of that temple but the overall impression and the foreground very very well captured with nice detail and good composition. Well done. Thanks

Hello Patshoo,
You have shot Swayambhunath in a good composition, the stupa with five-colored prayer flags fluttering in the wind. The tonality with a green tint like Kodachrome is very interesting.

Hello Patshoo, I continue to be specially attracted by your earlier posts... Here the juxtaposition of stupas is great, you found a good POV ; excellent scan too, you must have a good machine (could you tell me which model ?)
