Photographer’s Note
Many bus tours to the Terracotta Warriors in Xian, stop off at a factory first, that shows how the statues were moulded & sculpted. Taken outdoors, at the entrance to one of these foundries.
The gaps in the hands, are for later placement of things like spears & reins, for the horses. It looks like the Chinese landscapers, & builders, could take lessons in spray-painting!

Olá Chris, indeed, they need some color. This is almost a b&w picture. On the other hand, they may have a better dramatic effect like this...a huge army that looks a bit like ghosts can be more impressive and frightening. I like the dust effect on them. Excellent double portrait.
cheers,

Hello Chris,
It happens I wonder how many hours of man labour that was put into the creation of the Terracotta Army..!
But at least they created something for the future...
This is a fine double portrait, showing the details well!

hi Chris
This has been one of the greatest archeological findings and is drawing crowds to Xian. You show a pair so nicely here to show the details. A bunch of them will be distractive. Nice shot.
