Photographer’s Note
Greetings friends,
This photo was taken in a field near my home- Iowa has suffered disastrous floods this spring, which have severely damaged thousands of homes and fields. The flood waters have dried from this field, leaving the soil dry and cracked. This small plant has managed to spring up, however, and shows how life will soon retake the area.
