Photographer’s Note

During a trip in North-Vietnam, the engine of our jeep broke down and we have to wait for a long time totally lost nowhere.
Gradually, these very shy but curious children coming down from the top mountains came nearer and nearer until being finally closer for a photo.
It was a true moment of sharing

wow incredible picture, you framed the people wonderfully with a lot of bushes in the front, nice tree branches at the top, and those steep mountains way off in the distance. the girl is looking directly at us, very powerful.. fantastic, i wish to visit this place. thanks for sharing :)

A little PS work could have helped give a better "glow" to this marvelous mountain people scene. Seems the little backpack was not so crazy about being awakened!!!

WOW!Lovely image of thes beautiful girls. The color, light, and setting are perfect. It deels very painterly to me, like Gaughin, but better!

It's a wonderful photo. What is the Yashica T5? your scanner? anyway I've noticed a certain dullness in your images regarding color only - not subject.

Very well done here Vero. This photo is very rich in demographic as well as geographic detail. The clothings depicted the culture and the surrounding, where the culture is. The mountain at the back, is really very thoughtful.

Photo très touchante Véronique. Les costumes sont magnifiques et les visages sereins très bien mis en valeur par la lumière. Les montagnes en filigrane derrière ajoute une touche incroyable à cette très belle prise. Elles paraissent si calmes que l'on n'a pas de mal à croire qu'elles sont arrivées tout doucement...

superbes v^étements et couleurs, j'aime beaucoup le contraste avec les montagnes bleutées, ces enfants sont de quelle ethnie? en tout cas très zen...
j'aime bien la coupe de cheveux du bb...
