Photographer’s Note

This shot was taken at Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone NP. Like the rest of the park, Mammoth Hot Springs is nothing short of spectacular. I photographed the popular terraces, but this shot, which I snapped when walking back to my car in the parking lot, is much more interesting to me. It looks like some strange and alien world. If I didn't know any better, I'd say that this shot wasn't taken on this planet. :)
