Photographer’s Note
The castle of Cerreto (Borgo a Mozzano, LU), was destroyed by the army of Lucca in 1242 and the round tower was razed to the ground. Inside the ruins of the tower there is a little cross now, silent witness of the a recent past when the building was converted in charnel house. Also the bones are gone by now and only the cross lonely stands to remember us this story

Good ruins shot and nice historical side note. The cross may a little tilted to the right. Maybe you could straighten in PS. Thanks for sharing.
