Photographer’s Note
The sheds are the last Indian border post at Nagesthi (12,000 ft) where civilians are allowed. The custodians on the ground and the snow-clad ones touching the sky are on a tireless vigil to protect freedom and free speech.
Nagesthi is at an hour of walking distance from the last Indian village Chitkul near India-Tibet border. The river on the bottom left corner is Baspa.
Any comment? Thanks.
