Photographer’s Note
Papingo or Papigko is one of the Zagoria villages, located in the Vikos-Aoos National Park, Epirus, Greece. Papingo is a ski resort that is mainly popular with Greeks, and a popular starting point for hiking and mountaineering. Papingo actually consists of two villages: Megalo Papingo and Mikro Papingo big and small Papingo. The only access road for cars first takes you to Megalo Papingo and a kilometre further to Mikro Papingo.
