Paper Mill Village Bridge
Route 67A .5 mile west of the Silk Road Bridge (watch for sign). The Paper Mill Village Bridge spans the Walloomsac River. The Paper Mill Village Bridge was originally named for a 1790 paper mill that was one of the state’s first. This bridge was built by the son of Benjamin Sears, who build the Silk Road Bridge.
The Paper Mill Village Bridge area provides enough room for tour buses to park and unload passengers offering photo opportunities to tour participants. Catch a glimpse of the waterfall below.

Hi Tom, an image with rich parts except the sky it helps not very much here.
On the earthy part the light superb, I like the way you framed it, you used a very good pov and very good placed the details-parts. Especial the reflections are a wonderful part in all composition.
Have a nice time.

Hello Tom,
A very well chosen view of the bridge, incorporating the waterfall. These bridges are all painted in the most bright and welcoming of colours!
I love the reflection, almost mirror-like in its quality, before the water tumbles over the waterfall.
The light has worked well here. It has painted interesting shadows along the bridge wall. Was it late afternoon?
Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Tom,
A very good point of view on this bridge that also takes full advantage of the dynamism offered by the weir and the lovely reflections. Excellent light and colours and very good clarity.

hello Tom,
pitty about the sky, although I see that you have already tried to include as little as possible of that milky white colour. but I like a lot the warm golden light falling on the red building, that's a great contrast with much cooler tones of the water. the foreground works well to add depth to the scene, very nice work.
have a great weekend,
Kristine

Hello Tom
A picture that takes you on a journey through time!
Two juxtaposed icons of my grandfather's era when he took his blocs (?) to the sawmill, later converted to diesel power, for transformation into construction timber!
A place steeped in history!
Best regards.

Hi Tom,
Good interest here and good perspective, too bad the sky is quite washed out - but sometimes can't be helped. TFS. Gerald

Tom, this is a real winner, the colors are great in that late afternoon sun and the reflection is just tack sharp. I suppose there is no right or wrong way to shoot these artifacts but so far all your angles look great.

Hello Tom,
In this cascade of water, there is so much drama — the mirror-like water on the top level pours over smoothly, gains speed, and a virtual white water is seen to develop below. The bridge and its reflection add a spectacular highlight to the scene.
Warm regards and have a good Sunday,
Bulent

Hi Tom,
Quite an unusual POV with the perfectly mirroring reflection streaming smoothly over the dam and churning itself white. Nice work with sunlight and shadows on the bridge.

A very nice & interesting scene you have captured here Tom, I like the natural looking colour & light. The stonewall in FG is a good inclusion, I also like the mirror like reflection on the water just before it goes over the edge. Well composed. clear scene.

Hi Tom,
although the sky wasn't being too cooperative, you managed to come up with a superb effort anyway.
Brilliant light management, brilliant colors, great perpective and framing, and those mirror-like reflections are truly priceless.
GOOD JOB!
Have a nice weekend, I'll be seeing you soon.
Ciao,
Fulvio.
