Photographer’s Note

She just got off from the bus and started walking towards her village.

Putting the luggage on her head( while there is a handle to carry it), she wrapped the other end of the saree around her arms and went off in a jiffy without losing a step.

She perfected the art of carrying the bag on her head, handsfree!

Its photo shows as the life is very hard for these places. A great image of the daily life.

Hi Bishnu. A very common thing in India to carry things on your head but this is the first time I see one with a case like this. The colour and composition are nice, the shot lacks quality though (maybee due to upload).

This is a very lovely scene. I am drawn in first by the unusual colors. The theme of yellow and green is wonderful. I like the way the sun and sky are reflected in the water, and the placement of the woman is perfect. Of course, it is also amazing to see someone walking with a heavy suitcase balanced on their head! :-)

Wonderful shot! The colours look just great. Yellow and green go very nicely together. You have taken the shot at a very beautiful time of the day. Composition is also fantastic. The soft colours is the thing that is pleasing me the most. Thanks for sharing.

The pun is in the paranthesis. This is an example of a normal scene going extra ordinary. colors are great and strong supporting message.
