In the Mediterranean sensibility marked by pomp and ostentation baroque cemeteries occupy a special place heritage, reinforced by a particular approach of death. In Italy, cemeteries monuments of Genoa or Milan are real summaries, and history of mentalities, and art history. The same applies to Nice.
The cemeteries Castle are the most spectacular Nice both in their situation by the number of funerary monuments quality there.
A system of terraces allows distribution of tombs very airy, allowing spectacular panoramic escaped over the city, the sea and mountains circus that surrounds it.

Salut Georges,
C'est un endroit de Nice que j'aime tout particulièrement. Chaque fois que j'y suis, je m'y rend. J'irai à nouveau en août très certainement pour y photographier des monuments funéraires et ce lieu en haut de la colline si intéressant.
Très bonne note accopagnée d'une photo très réussie.

Bonjour Georges

Très jolie composition. L'entrée de ce cimetière est magnifique et après la lecture de ta note très instructive, et bien écrite, on a très envie d'emprunter cet escalier pour aller découvrir le reste du lieu.
La qualité d'image est très bonne, avec la lumière parfaitement gérée pour faire ressortir la belle couleur de l'édifice, et une netteté impeccable.
Bravo pour la réalisation.
