Photographer’s Note
Light games on the sheets.
Whiter than white, dancing in the wind under the sunshine until being dry and whiten to end up back on your bed, what a journey.
Regards, Luc
Info place: The Old English Fishing Lodge at the River Langá is 6 km to the west of the small town of Borgarnes, about one hour drive from Reykjavík. On the banks of the Langá, one of the most famous salmon rivers of the country, it was originally built by Englishmen in 1884 and is the oldest lodge in Iceland. Until recently it was only for fishermen at the river, but last year it was turned into a guesthouse.
There are 9 double bedrooms in the lodge, five of them with a bathroom each. There is also a dining-room, two sitting-rooms, a kitchen, storage's, cooler and some spare rooms. Guests and groups are able to choose service from simple sleeping bag accommodation to full service/hotel style accommodation with breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The lodge has been remodeled and reconstructed repeatedly through the years. During the reconstruction special attention was paid to the history of the house. Tradition, coziness and the fact that the lodge is run as a small family business are the things we want out guests to notice. The fishing lodge used to be the fisherman's home and during his fishing he should feel comfortable. The same is now our goal for our guests.

Very nice photo of an extremely mundane subject Luc!
What is more boring than sheets hanging up? However, with the light, POV, and composition, you've created a very nice image. The only thing that would have made it better may have been to shoot closer and lower, with a wider lens. This is just my opinion.
I love the movement of the sheets you have captured.
Nice post!

Hi Luc,
I really love this photo. The wonderful white against the strong green grass is lovely and the sky reminds me of what I feel when I'm doing the laundry - it's duty. But this photo shows that there is a very aesthetic aspect to this duty!
Thanks,
Linda

Hi Luc, good idea... simple and nice. Great compo with the blankets following the wind and the perspective of the picture, nice natural colours. Chau chau,
