Photographer’s Note
The ancient but still in operation theatre of Epidavros; every summer the famous Hellenic festival is held there.

Hi Stella,
This one is better than the original. Clarity, sharpness and colour are enhanced now! The PoV is also good.
Regards,
Athanasios.

Hi Stella
It is long time ago I was there, to be precisely in 1994 where I saw an ancient Greek theatre and I sat next to Andreas Papandreou or let me say closed to him.
A nice photo at all.

Hello Stella,
An excellent expansive shot of the great amphitheater. Including people in the shot is good (and also unavoidable) for the purpose of gaining scale. There is a similar amphitheater (seating 30,000) in Ephesus. I remember, my son Michael and I did an experiment with me standing in the center of the stage, and clapping my hands as he gradually ascended the stairs. What extraordinary acoustics the engineers built into these structures.
Warm regards,
Bulent

Kalimera Stelli,
What an amazing feeling that must be to view the Hellenic Festival in this ancient place. Excellent framing although ther light is a bit flat. Do you think morning or evening light would best set it off? The link is a great idea, it really stimulates my imagination of being there viewing the artists.
HLJ, pat
