Photographer’s Note
The merry-go-round of Antibes, located in Allèe de la Republique, close to the old city centre; a pregnant woman...ok... THE pregnant woman, was waiting the end of the round to take off from a small plastic horse her child.
Then: screams & teardrops.

Ciao Paolo,
Nice idea and good realization. There is the opposition between the static woman and the spinning of the manege.
Perhaps a little too much light on some parts of the photo, but it is also playing for the ambiance.
You really selected the good speed for the rendering of the movement.
Yves.

Bonjour, cher Paolo,
Ah ! très bien fait cette réalisation ! le manège tourne à la façon d'un engin venu d'ailleurs, la présence de la femme au premier plan donne à l'ensemble un effet très particulier.
Belle réussite et très originale réalisation.
Amitiés.

Hi Paolo,
I like that kind of shots.
It is difficult to place a still character in that kind of shot.
You have succeed in it.
The burnt light give a nice atmosphere.
Regards.

Intelligent compo, Paolo, the sharp, static woman in black against the dynamic, blurred, colorful, strongly illuminated merry-go-round. Regards, Daniel
ps - Don't worry, they are always a lousy team in the first stages (like in '82, etc.)

hi Paolo
Very good example of motion and using the lights for this effect of blur, and the woman still fiarly sharp at 1/2.5s handheld! Good post although I find the light somewhat OE in some areas. But overall it gives a special effect.

Hi Paolo,
Great mood of speed and fun in this also with the bright warm lights giving off such nice warm colours. The pregnant lady adds a nice special touch to the shot.

Ciao Paolo,
bellissimo l'effeto movimento che hai dato alla foto, molto ben gestita la luce, la signora in dolce attesa non e' tua moglie vero?
senno la famiglia diventa subito numerosa.

Interesting use of the long exposure (how long btw?) to show the swirling maelstrom, but with a stable element added by this women, an anchor to the composition ;)
