Ben, whose real name Benjamin Vautier, is a French artist of Swiss origin, born July 18, 1935 in Naples, Italy.
He lives and works for many years on the heights of St. Pancrace, hill niçoise or his house, masterpiece of art brut, stands out in the neighbourhood.
At the end of 1950, it opens in Nice a small shop which he decorates the front of an accumulation of disparate objects, in which he sells used CDs. He was chosen to create the graphics accompanying the new tram stations Nice, which went into service in November 2007.
It also draws the new jersey Rugby Nice Cote d'Azur.
