Photographer’s Note

A really nice and relaxing view from Djurgårdsbron - a bridge in central Stockholm.
Designed by Carl Fraenell and built for the Stockholm World's Fair 1897, the present bridge forms a southern extension to the boulevard Narvavägen, thus connecting mainland Östermalm to the island Djurgården. It is one of four bridges stretching from Djurgården, the other being Djurgårdsbrunnsbron, Beckholmsbron, and Lilla Sjötullsbron.

Hello Rossy,

This stands out as a very well composed shot.
I like how the blue of the sky and the blue of the water converge to give a really good perspective.
Good f/g interest from the boat, before the full splendour of the detailed boats and architecture is appreciated, in the distance.

A wonderful shot of Strandvägen and all its old wooden ships. Your perspective and composition is perfect and the pictures is taken in very pleasant afternoon light. I really like your inclusion of the little green boat that makes the scene vidid. TFS and have a nice Sunday!

Salut Rossy,
Celà faisait longtemps que je n'avais vu un de tes post, bon retour :-)
Tu as choisi un bon pov ici, une belle diagonale qui donne de la perspective à la photo et du dynamisme avec le positionnement du pédalo sur la composition; Les couleurs sont superbes, elles se détachent bien les unes des autres.Le ciel bleu met bien en valeur les batiments le long de la rivière. Beau travail.

Hi Rossy,
A very picturesque scene with a sense of peacefulness to it....the people quietly enjoying the paddle boat while taking in the lovely view of the old boats and even older building. I like the diagonal line created by that building drawing one's eyes deeper into the frame. Very well done.
