Photographer’s Note
The Oporto Cathedral commenced construction in the year 1110, and was completed in the 13th century, however, it was remodeled in the 1700s. In the neighborhood surrounding the cathedral, you imagine life in these times, there are still families living in the ancient homes, and laundry flapping in the windows. It really is a magical place.

Hi Kipp,
Wonderful shot. I certainly saw that statue when I was in Porto last October. Here you have made excellent use of the lighting condition. the combination of the statue in silhouette and the sunlight on the cathedral is superb. TFS and have a nice Sunday evening!
Cheers,
Ulf
