Photographer’s Note
This picture had been taken on the Victoria Square in downtown Montreal. Beside the guardian, this is the 'Tour de la Banque National'.
This is an HDR photography of 3 images taken with difference of 2 stops between. I also use Photomatix 3.0 to reveal the image and do some work on Photoshop to get better colors.
Hope you enjoy!

From thumbnail, I was attracted by the height of building.
Then, looking at the bigger version this time the sculpture spiritually blocking the entrance of building stroke me.
Reading your note, I said "What, is it an HDR?"
Step by step, I like your photo :)
I guess due to color of sky, enlightment and emptiness on the road, it may be very early in the morning.
Perspective and using the guardian exactly in front of the building is very nice.

first time in thumb I thaught the main idea was building picture .After opened and read title that's not.I think the building behind guardian make a compete and let's viewer looking first.not the guardian the hero.anyway it's quite interesting shot;colors, lighting, angle view.
