A view of the quiet life on the shores of Lago Maggiore.
Fishermen, a couple of lovers, a man who was reading the newspaper... quiet life, waiting for the aperitivo hour and then the lunch.

The picture was took from the small pier of the village, looking to the historial city centre, full of villas and cottages of Milano entepreneur families, built between the mid XIX century and the first decades of the XX century.
All the shores of the main lakes of the district north of Milano are full of this wonderful cottages and villas.
The water level in this image was higher than the zero normal level of more than 2,30 meters.

Che bella Paolo , restituisce bene l'atmosfera serena del posto e delle persone che si concedono relax pescando , 10 giorni fà sono stato da quelle parti per lavoro ed ho pernottato ad Arona , un bel posto , che tu sicuramente conosci .

I like the curving diagonal of the esplanade, terminating in the bottom left corner. Good sharpness, colour, & light contrasts. Tfs!

Nice composition using the curving waterfront to lead the eye through the shot. The lighting and colors are fine with nice sharpness and detail. The photo does have a calm and peaceful mood thanks to the people along the rail.

A pictorial point of view and quite pleasant. The depth through various levels, make this takes is not boring by watching, since that is full of details very appropriate.

Good management of light and a great balance in the frame. Excellent work.

The curved 'balcony' lookout combined with the nice-looking trees planted on it contributed nicely to this capture to end with such luxury houses overlooking the water. Good to show the people enjoying the scenic view.

Splendid photo, excellent lights and magnificently replete colours, Splendid POV. Reflexes in water post the work the character of the impressionistic painting. Wonderful is this effect.

The curving shoreline caught my attention already in the thumbnail!
Then I notice how well everything is arranged for the anglers, even a rail to prevent them from falling in the water, hehehe...
A beautiful place with fine architecture, presented in this well composed image!

He he august 1st I'll be there, not this place but Cannobio is booked :-)
I might be fishing as well, but for pixels rather than fish, the fish I can find it in the many nice restaurants around, nice lakeside curve featuring nice houses.
