Photographer’s Note

This water is the fantastic clear water from zanzibar.
The second week during our trip we stayed on zanzibar a dream island.
One day we made a small trip to a small island t he trip is called blue safari.
We saw some dolphins swimming directly next to our boat a fantastic moment.
While we were looking for other dolphins I took this picture of a typical boat from zanzibar I liked the contrast.

Another beautifully colored, nature photo is posted on your gallery.
Blue of sea, white of sail and red "dot" of man is very well composed here.
I like vertical framing here, presenting the sail as a vertical triangle.

beautiful shades of blue with the white sail in contrast and the man's red shirt. I like the vertical framing and the way the sail is off centered. I'm nor sure I'd feel comfortable in such a frail looking boat, though. :)) Lovely shot! Many thanks and take good care,

Gorgeous! You've positioned the boat perfectly in the image. I like the low perspective you've taken so you feel right on the water with them and the sail just leads you right through the picture through this fantastically blue sky. Nice!

This is a really good picture! The first thing that stands out to me is the colour of the sea. This is a real eye catcher! Also I think your composition is really good as the boat and sail is positioned nicely in the frame.

Another beautiful image of Zanzibar where I have not been in when in Tanzania. I love the turquoise water, great sharpness and clarity, good composition, colors and light well managed with adequate saturation and contrast. Very refreshing atmosphere fill with tropical and cheerful light. Thanks for sharing and your nice comments. I will post some more photos of Tanzania again soon.

Interesting to see this vessel, with the outriggers and the triangular sail!
A fine composition, where the good light renders fine colours...
Seems like the crew is relaxed too, under the high sun!

Hi Tobias,
I loved Zanzibar when I went there, it just had such a nice atmosphere and your image shows that well. Very nice with the different shades of blue from the water to the sky, and the boat is nice and sharp with the mans red shirt jumping out.

wonderful color in the water and the boat is a charmer too. not sure i agree with the composition though. the boat seems a bit cramped on the right side: as in "it has nowhere else to run than off your frame".
