Photographer’s Note

Terns and Gulls on the Lago di Como, close to Bellagio village. Its were "dancing" on the waterfront asking breads to the people. An image of the February 2007, of a wonderful winter sunny day, with warm wind.

The excactley opposite of the past 15 days on the whole North Italy with rain, storms, floods, deads for landslides in Piedmont.
We spent the week-end of the 2th of June (Italy national holiday) on the Lago Maggiore, where the water level was just 30 centimeters lower than the flood point on the streets of village where we were. We had rain, rain, rain and grey sky.
Yesterday millions of people back home after the 4 days holyday, under the rain....

...of course today is a fantastic sunny day with a marvellous deep blue sky on the whole North, warm temperature, fresh wind, no clouds on the sky.

...And we can see that fantastic blue sky from the windows of the office....

Anyway, i did many pictures, some goods also with that damned weather and the grey or pale white sky...but my laptop computer collapsed yesterday evening.

Hard disk broken.

Divertente nota tragicomica che mi riporta alla mente ricordi di "Fantozziana" memoria, ... :o)
bella foto Paolo, con questi gabbiani che sembrano veramente danzare, ed uno sfondo monocromatico che ne esalta le forme, BRAVO!!!

Hello Paolo,
If it was fine, you might have been able surely to take such a refreshing image.
It's too bad! I also have broken my hard disk at the Himalayas of altitude over 4300m. The manufacturer told me that a hard disk is not guaranteed in 3000m or more.

I didn't know there are other people has the "tuesday hatred", I am so happy to see someone else here :)
I have this "Tuesday syndrome" for about 6-7 months. When something wrong happens, I know it is Tuesday! My professor and advicer complains about my work on Tuesdays, I fell from a bus on Tuesday, I lost my keys and waited until someone come on Tuesday, bla bla bla... This became a horrible routine, now I am waiting something wrong today before Tuesday ends. :(
I am sorry for your unlucky 4 days holiday and harddisk, but what can I say, it is Tuesday...
In the contrary to Tuesday, your photo looks really great. Birds with their wings wide open, on flying mode. I am quite sure the date you took this photo wasn't Tuesday. It looks sooo nice, well-timed and beatifully colored...

Hi Paolo! Him I do not believe that the day is that happens bad chances! It can they happen also the other days! As and they happen Tuesday beautifully fact! It should have freedom thoughts as the flown of birds that goes everywhere and always! Thus we thought simple and white as the gulls.Thanks

QWQuite the dramatic shot you have there, those slightly blurry birds show how frantic they were moving, and the background is very peacefull, contrasting the composition.
the boat adds scale to the lake, and we can only guess and wonder at how big it is ;)

Hitchcockiana, sai cosa intendo.
E oltre che hitchcockiana, molto bella per la profondità dei diversi piani sui quali si muovono i pennuti, dunque direi quasi tridimensionale. Ho qualche riserva su due illusioni ottiche fuorvianti: l'ormeggio sovrapposto al gabbiano sulla destra e il battello sovrastato dall'altro gabbiano sulla sinistra.
Oggi mi sento impietoso :-)
