Photographer’s Note
The Millstream brook (about 20 minutes south of Sussex NB) winds through the base of Kierstead Mountain and slowly widens over it's long course. Eventually, this little brook does become a full fledged stream.
In this area, the spring thaw produces some very dramatic water level changes. This picture was taken about mid way through this process. 2-3 weeks before this picture was taken, the water was easily 2-3 feet higher. In the middle of the summer (June-July), it would not be unusual to barely see an ankle deep trickle in this picture.
Taken on a very cloudy morning, I cropped a bit and saturated colors a little to imitate some sunlight.
I really thought a thin black border would have looked nice on this picture also. Any comments would be welcomed. Thanks TE friends =-)
