Photographer’s Note
I took the bus from Prague to Cesky Krumlov. About two-thirds of the way there, the bus broke down. Having done most of my recent travel in places like East Africa and Mongolia, where transport break downs are the norm, I wasn't too bothered. The rest of the passengers, however, were, and one Czech woman even called the police to report the apparently numerous safety violations on the bus. Despite the yelling by the passengers and the write-up from the police, our driver was unfazed. He sat back, put his feet up, made a big salami sandwich, and didn't even mind when all the tourists started taking his picture. Not too much later, another bus showed up, and we were on our way.

Nice note. I think your picture pretty much reflects what you wrote. He doesn't care about much, he's just taking it easy. I like his hat and sunglasses. The tight crop slightly removing his head and feet is excellent.

A well caught moment. And I like a man who knows when things are not his fault and keeps his calm. I like the tight crop. I also like the modern East European facade in the background as a nice setting for this. You could dodge his face and trousers just a little.

Amazing story of amazing picture, because all details and the mood of the picture works on, cooperates with the story. Apart of what was already said as worthy to like, I like also white socks and the remains of newspapers and... everything - all details and the picture as a whole speaks for itself with one voice and the story is readable without the note. The guy is a very distinct type.
I would not require any improvements, to me it is fine as it is.
Again, Mimi, your excellent sense for people in their characteristic situations.
BTW, you could put it into the Scavenger hunt - there is such topic now, I guess.

nice pic mimi! That shows that, in the end, this man was right. he knew another bus was coming and since he couldn't do more, he just decided to relax and have his lunch break.. Just making the best out of every moment! coming back from India, i admire those people who have this ability now... It is so different from our western world where people are counting by the minute... I now feel like saying : hey folks, enjoy life and don't let it pass by...
great message conveyed by your pic and your note;-) Excellent crop except maybe for his foot.. it would have been nice to include it fully in the frame;-)
Just one question though : Did he tell the passengers that another bus was coming? if not that might explain the anger...
