interesant proiect (si potrivit societatii britanice :) ) - facut pentru conversia alb/negru ... interesanta si extrem de impresionanta si Tate Modern - proiectul asta (prin dimensiuni cel putin) pare sa fi fost special creat pentru Great Turbine hall

Hello Cristian,
A refreshingly unusual picture for TE. It's fascinating to watch the figures, some lying down, others sitting - alone or together - the old couple in the foreground just standing there watching the crowd. Yes, like others have mentioned, it's like something out of a silent movie.

Hi Cristian, I have seen several shots of this project in the Tate Modern and I guess that this one, due to its gritty greys and mist comes very close to the intentions of it. Very graphic too. Lov' it.

Cristian,
an image that has an atmosphere of doom, of mystery, of an unsolved problem. The B&W treatment gives and additional timeliness that underscores that feeling. Very good work!

I have seen many of this place, yours is very special. So dramatic, almost an alien look, like the world after a big catastrophy, interesting array of people in different attitudes and gloomy mood. Well done, I like this a lot and b/w great choice.

This looks just great, Cristian. Actually, this is one of the best B&Ws Ive seen recently. the strange atmosphere is enchanting...looks like a frozen moment, I find myself wondering if the people are real or just statues.
The lovely couple standing in the bottom is a fantastic detail!

Je ne connaissais pas tes photos jusqu'à aujourd'hui...
Ravis de cette rencontre et bravo pour ton français !
beaucoup de belles photos. J'ai choisi de critiquer celle-ci pour son atmosphère particulière. Beaucoup d'interprétations sont possible... une personne allongée sur la droite, le couple de vieux au milieu, un couple jeune à droit, des enfants au fond... une vie ?

Something about it I am searching, too : composition with human body in the space with an interesting placement of the people...
Good atmposphere with very "heavy and cloudy" light in the interior.

I remember reading about this extraordinary project sometime in 2003. The audience plays a very important role in this exhibition appearing as silhouettes in the bleak artificial fog. The mood is so evocative, almost holocaustic (sorry for using this analogy) & perfect in B&W. Excellent!

The turbine hall in the Tate Modern, a great place for photography indeed!
I like your shot, it somehow fits with the settings as he brings to my mind images of coal miners in the fog of the industrial midlands.
Funny to look at these people experiencing this project in their own ways.

The silhouette treatment is really effective, Cristian. The people look like ghosts, wandering, lost. That haze above (part of the exhibit, I presume) really helps, too. Looks like something out of a bleak-future science-fiction movie. Regards, Ken.

Its like a setup in a museum Cristian. Very well captured. May be you changed the picture to B/w. but the silhouttes of the people looks like a museum display. Good one

this is good,. Its like a darker minded Lowry has photographesd this scene as prep work for a painting.Your choice of b&w was the right one. It creates a mood of almostfreboding and I feel i want to shout, someone turne on the light! someone turn on the colour!

Which atmosphere! we really have the impression to be in a science fiction's film .
It is very interesting the way with which you photograph the Tate Modern, it seems to be a building built in the 1930s.
