Photographer’s Note

Another one view from the small village of Castelveccana, located on the lombardian shore of the Lago Maggiore, 60 minutes north west of Milano.

The picture was took looking north, to the Swiss Alps.
The big rocky formation is called the Rocca di Caldè, (the Caldè's Rock), and the omonymous village, part of the Castelveccana Municipality, was settled around it.

The picutre was took on the beginning of November, when on the Lakes District the weather can still have something of the Summer season and not yet of the Autumn.

The Castelveccana Municipalty was created in the past XX Century by the merge of 2 main villages, Castello and Veccana, and still today there isn't a citycentre, but a large number of small tiny villages Castello, Caldè, Pessina, San Pietro, Ronchiano, Castello, Orile, Rasate, Bissaga, Veccana, Nasca, Sarigo, Saltirana, Biogno, Pianeggi, Pira, San Michele.

I think that this tone of blue could be called Blue November...
