Photographer’s Note
Not quite a full moon, illuminating the ocean near Oceanside, Oregon. There was enough light for suble color.
It was as much of the feeling of atmosphere as it was image.
I let the camera pick the exposure, and I was happy with the look of the water. The image was made at 11:38PM.

You choosed well and the camera did a job that deserved it's money spent...
Dreamy scene with the soft water, clouds like "dreamworks" and great shadows.
I made a workshop where I got some information out on the beach. Nothing big but a small touch...

Very atmospheric image...you captured the light great! The hotizon needs some rotate though...Overall very good!

Nice shoot, good experiment on this kind of lighting. On a full moon night, you never know what you will get... ;-) Horizon level could have been straighten tho, and cropping the black bottom would give more relevance to the sky and water reflections. I post my first workshop on your shot, i was inspired by it. Keep it coming!

Your seascapes are lovely, Dana. In this case the subtle colors come through, with feeling.I like your composition, with the dark foreground that is sorta triagular, and the background mountains. Reminds me of nights in Hawaii w/full moons...but the clouds are different there.
