| I am not sure what the name of the area is called where this was shot. I took it during a tour through what they call the Golden Trinagle. Iceland is such a beautiful country. The nature is amazing. I know my photos are far from some other Iceland shoots you can see here on TE but i am just having a ball going through my long lost photos that i finally have access to again. I wonder if this shot is a bit dark. It was a gloomy day so it was pretty dark, i had no tripod and i had just started photographing when taken this...with my very first camera. |

Hi Zandra,
Presumably this is somewhere on Lake Thingvellir if it's in the Golden Circle?
There are several things I really like about this. It has a very delicate, natural atmosphere and a beautiful view across the lake. I can really imagine I'm standing there looking out over the water and breathing the cool air. I like the way the small red house is nestled between the foreground ridge and the edge of the lake and the way the low cloud shrouds the mountains on the far side of the water. But as you say it seems a bit dark. I've taken the liberty of doing a small workshop with a few suggestions. I hope you don't mind.
John
A real PICTURE of Iceland ,beautiful.
