here is famous nanjing-east road
i walked down this street for many nights
but tonight was differently stunning
because of the rain-rain all night long
the raindrops nearly stopped falling down
and became the water on the street
i could see the other world of shanghai nightlife upside down
LIVELY REFLECTION:)

after the opium war (1839-1842), shanghai became a treaty port. nanjing road was the international settlement. importing large quantities of foreign goods, it became the earliest shopping street in shanghai.
