Truly,
This place is spectacular. the lake is serene and the colors have come out great. Effective use of slow shutter. Its great coz many time in bright sunlight low shutter tends to overexposed shots.I am more interested in seeing a tele version of this photo. Anyways Good Job

Hi Philip,
I think you are right, paradise could well be here! I would never have previously thought it would be in Croatia, but since joining TE I've seen so many beautiful places captured in Croatia that I might just have to go there soon!
The colours are fantastic, the slow shutter has worked well, the blurred foreground is a nice touch, and I'd love to know how you managed to expose it so well. The sky must have been much brighter than the waterfall but you've managed to get both perfect. Great shot and thanks for sharing!

You did your best thus the exposure looks definitely very good! Captured with this wide-angle lens and using the polarizer, the whole scenery is well demarcated and lighted. You surely used a tripod and handled very well the aperture and the shutter speed.
Very grateful for those images!

Hi Philip
Every since i saw a photo of this place on TE a couple of years ago, I've decided that the day I return to Croatia, I go here. Green is my favourite colour and the greens here are so intense. The spring colours of the trees contrast beautifully as does the sharpness of the land with the troubled water.

You have a great shot here to get nice pov and superb clear color. Sharpness and colorful contrast with f/20 and 1/4 perhaps with help of some support if not tripod. Lovely view from a low angle and well composed.

This is outstanding, I hope you didn't play around with the greens too much, as from what I can remember, Croatia has an abundance of natural green and blue lakes. Fantastic exposure time, the waterfalls look like silk. The lake is inviting me to have a swim and the trees are composed nicely around the falls and lake itself. Top stuff here, keep up the good work

Hello Philip,
The harsh midday sun doesn’t appear to have been a problem at all here and in fact creates a very inviting, summery atmosphere.
I like the curving line of the banks and the waterfalls in the upper part of the picture, but what really makes it for me is the astonishing colour and texture of the water, particularly taken from that low viewpoint. I can almost feel the water up to my waist!
Very nice shot indeed.

Hi Philip,

We miss nothing any more but one Siren to supplement the painting !!! Splendid composition, framing with short-nap cloth of water gives a good depth and allows us to appreciate the superb colors and reflection of the lake. The water falls are marvellous. A compositon full with serenity and that resembles the Paradise indeed, thank you Philip.

One more wonderful picture from this place in Croatia!
I don't know much about the Country, but have heard some good things about it, specially about the nature and the shoreline!
With pictures like this one of yours I get to know a bit better the Country and feel like visiting it some time in the future, that's for sure!

Hi Philip. Wonderful colours and the beauty is accentuated with your well chosen 1/4seconds exposure.You were lucky with the weather. The days I was there were overcast as it was Autumn. This is a WOW-shot!
The low POV, the excellent frame composition, HDR and the further pp resulted into a magical image, which could have been taken from a fantasy movie.

You directed me to your Plitvice photos and I think this is my favourite. I can't recall seeing this particular waterfall. It's amazing that you used 1/4 second without a tripod. What appeals to me is the low POV so I wondered if you set the camera down on the walkway. The slow shutter has produced the silky look of the water that I like and couldn't obtain when I was there because I had no tripod. Despite the reflections from the trees you still manage to convey the wonderful turquoise of the water. Good work.
