This a small park near my home that I like to check out once in a while. I particularly like the willows that line the river bank.

The colors in this picture are fabulous, and I LOVE these trees!! What a wonderful place to have close to your home!! A really beautiful picture!! TFS

Hello Phil,

The willow certainly stands out on your shot!
The variety of green tones is so beautiful! The sky is not blue but the threatening sky makes an interesting contrast to the vivid greens.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hi, Phil,
that light is wonderful! I love the way the willow is so brightly lit in comparison to the other trees and the 3 distinct parts. The brighter green in the FG, the darker tees behind and that heavy looking sky. I love the balance in this. Really great detail, too. Outstanding shot! Thanks and have a good weekend,
Shelly

a little bit less gamma would emphasize the great contrast here, well, just an idea, interesting combinaison dark sky & strong light

Hi Phil,
willow(s) and light are striking. So are those greens. At first glance I thought... Velvia!
Well, I got pretty close : it's Fuji Sensia 100. Cool!
Have a great weekend, I'll see ya soon.
Fulvio.

Hi Phil,

good idea, that tree is awesome, good details and colours,

Regards

Sergio

Hola Phil,
Magnífica toma de este precioso árbol recibiendo toda la luz del sol y teniendo a su espalda un cielo oscuro y amenazante. Excelentes detalles y contraste.
Cordialmente
Charo

Hi Phil,
This looks more of a painting. Wonderful composition too, your scans are no longer lacking in quality, whatever that is that you're doing, don't change :)
Regards,
Shaeri

Phil,
the digital quality of the image isn't at its best. The scanning took its toll, but the light and colors are fantastic and woth the post. That tree to the left with the light on it and contrasting with the dark sky is superb!
Peter

Hi Phil,
I like them too and you captured this one in an excellent light.
Compliments, Chris

Hello Phil
I like the contrast between the willow and the dark sky. The grass is so vivid. Nice point of view and details. Wonderful this park!
Best regards
Denis!

Nice light going on here Phil. Is there a storm a comin'? So simple, so effective. Regards and have a good weekend, TW

Hi Phil,
Beautiful varying shades of green in the willow dominated image with lovely soothing shadows and a wonderfully contrasting silver blue sky. Excellent sharpness and details to this beauty.
