Buckskin Gulch in northern Arizona is said to be the longest slot canyon in the world, surpassing that of the more well known Antelope Canyon nearby.
I took this picture about 1/4 way into the slot, where a slice of sun light pierced through the crack in the slot on to the canyon floor. The reflecting sunlight lit up the canyon walls into a warm orange color. |
