An actual view from Gailtal, Carinthia (click on the map left for looking at the position on satellite picture).

Carinthia (German: Kärnten, Slovenian: Koroška) is the southernmost Austrian state or Land. Situated within the Eastern alps it is chiefly famous for its mountains and lakes. The people are predominantly German-speaking with a unique (and easily recognizable) Southern Austro-Bavarian dialect. A Slovenian minority of about 13 000 people (of a total population of 560,000) is concentrated in the southeast of the country.
It consists mostly of the Klagenfurt basin and the mountain ranges of Upper Carinthia. The Carnic Alps and the Karawanken/ Karavanke make up the border to the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Slovenia. /wikipedia/

As for the photo: I do not like oversaturated pictures. Thanks to the pollution free air of Carinthia (like most part of Austria) the colours of the nature are more vivid than elsewhere.

Beautiful yellow field and valley below. And beautiful forested mountains on the other side with snows on top. A heavenly place, a heavenly view. I can smell the fresh air. latiff.

Hallo Laszlo!
Da wäre ich jetzt auch gerne ... ;-) (obwohl es hier zur Zeit auch herrlich ist - fast Sommer!) Der gelbe Teppich im Vordergrund führt wunderschön ins Bild und der Schnee auf den Gipfeln setzt einen tollen Kontrapunkt. Mir gefällt der viele Mischwald dort mit seinen vielerlei Grün-Nuancen. Tja, manche Leute haben es eben besser ... ;-)
Falls Du noch dort bist - weiterhin solch schöne Tage (ansonsten natürlich auch)!!!

Hallo Laszlo,

sehr schönes Frühlingsbild, die blühende Wiese im Vordergrund, die wunderbare Landschaft in all ihren verschiedenen grünen Schattierungen in Verbindung mit den noch schneebedeckten Gipfeln ergeben einen herrlichen Anblick!

Diese wunderbar blühende Wiese mit Blick auf den Puder auf den Spitzen der Bergen. Da mag man gleich wandern und die Luft tiefe einatmen. Interessant ist der fleckartige wald, wohl ein gemisch von Nadel- und Laubbäumen. Schönes Foto.

Szia Laszlo,
einfach aus den eigenen Farben strahlend. Kärnten ist schön, das habe ich so in Erinnerung. Und ich hatte dort Schnee im Hochsommer ab 1800 Meter Höhe, frisch gefallen. Ein lieblicher Blick in das Tal mit den noch verschneiten Gipfeln. Die Wiese mit der folgenden Baumreihe ist gut in das Bild eingepasst.

Merveilleux paysage et superbes couleurs printanières. Bonne composition en plusieurs plans à partir du champ de colza, le village dans la vallée et les magnifiques montagnes avec la neige tout en haut, sans onblier le beau ciel bleu, tout est là pour une belle photo que tu as su bien capter.

Beautiful scene. I love the spring atmosphee with meadow full of flowers and the bright colours of trees that just have got their fist leaves. The´composition is perfect and the sharpess is excellent. TFS and have a nice Sunday!
